New member for #openttdcoop: ^Spike^

Once again we welcome, albeit a little late due to technical difficulties, a new member in our ranks: ^Spike^.
new member

He’s been with us for a while now, showing solid building mixed with creative solutions. Out of the game he is a cheerful, social guy with an interest in Computer Science, proving useful on both the technical, as well as the human side of things. During his lengthy visits he can also be found helping people in-game, as well as on IRC. ^Spike^, we welcome you to the group and hope you’ll be a nice addition to #openttdcoop.

Coopetition ladder available

Today I’ve finally finished the first version of a coopetition ladder system. All games and results of future coopetition games will be tracked here. The only thing you need to do now is to go to the ladder website and register so more coopetition games can be held in the future.

Self regulating orders (SRO)

When it comes to improving station rating, often the focus is on changing or extending the network and tuning the signaling to the needs or adding additional trains to single stations while the orders of trains are often overlooked and plain default orders like “GoTo A, full load”, “GoTo B, unload” are only given. This article will show a set of more complex orders which offer a solution to comparatively easy network management while it “only” requires a usual efficient two-way track layout all the same.

The current PublicServer game #151, is a multi-region map where different regions are connected by ICE trains (or rather Shinkansens in this case) but the local s-bahn is subject to individual design.
