Good bye and good luck

Well I guess this is good bye.

From my first game with openttdcoop I have had great fun playing with some of the best players the you can find. These players have always been and I hope will always be helpful, inspiring and inventive. They helped me improve and develop my building skills to a point that I would never thought possible when I first joined a game. With openttdcoop I helped create and then break records, but for now I feel that I do not have enough time in my life to play openttdcoop.

Junctionary Reconstruction

As you might have noticed, I have been working on the junctionary lately. The main point of my efforts was that I see how many people face a problem that they know how to build some station, but they do not know how or when to use it. With the new junctionary I aim to make a collection of all our designs with some appropriate information. I won’t describe it too much as it is quite self-explanatory. I have made a major reorganization there and now is the time when you come in! Come start adding stuff there, finding designs in our archives and completing this collection of all our knowledge. Welcome to the new junctionary! 😛
Note: Please oh please _discuss_ things before adding stuff to the junctionary, I do not want it to become a mess again and I doubt you do. 😉

PSG #214: New client record

This evening many people have been quite busy, starting the building on psg #214, a joint plan from Vinnie and V453000 on a map with a nice collection of NewGRF.

Still ist lots to do, connections are not done by far, though with 26 people building (ok, some only watching) at a time, things progress at a nice pace 🙂

Back to the Basics (Signals How,What,When and even Where)

Signals All We Need To Know

Signals

Signals are what all rail networks need to be able to run. Yet quite a lot of the time I visit the public server and I spend most of my time finding missing or wrongly used signals. I finaly thought that to help remove some of the confusion around signaling and how easy it really is. I would write this blog to share the wealth.

More time lapses

I created a time lapse of a station build a while ago. In PSG 211 I created two more time lapses of a SLH construction and an upgrade. You might consider these less interesting as it is not a big build but there is still a lot to see and you can probably learn a thing or two from it. Or see how you shouldn’t build things.
